I like some of the other titles as well, but those were great and ones I think of most when it comes to the older games. I played all of these except the original Back to Nature and enjoyed them greatly, many are now nostalgic for me too, but I never completed HM: HoLV or SOS: FOMT (I want to, though). Of the older Harvest Moon titles before the title change occurred, I like Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, Harvest Moon 64, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (SE) despite how laggy it was, Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland, and maybe Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley and Harvest Moon: Boy & Girl/Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. But yeah, those two games are great in different ways. I think they improved the hospital/birth events from Story of Seasons (2015) as well. Despite that I married Wayne, I liked Ford's events and sort of wonder if I would have liked him more or not, as his events felt emotional/romantic-something that can really please me- but I never tried a second file for that. I also appreciated the types of dogs and cats I could get and was really pleased with the ones I bought (I got a bunch of medium to large dogs and pretty cats), the basement section for growing crops, and maybe a few other things. I admit, while wearing it when talking to certain characters, like Witchie and Dessie, it made me a bit more depressed then too because they really made me feel like he was dead.
I remember enjoying the winter themed one especially and I think this pink or white and blue one, if I even remember that being part of the game correctly, but kinda forgot what else I liked now besides Raeger's uniform, which I worked really hard to unlock, and it was a huge reason I even bothered with the cooking festivals in the first place where I would have just stopped playing after getting married and having a child. I liked certain outfits a lot, I think my favourites were feminine types like kimono. I just really love him, and the memories I have with him are burned into my mind. I felt as if Raeger was dead or like I was cheating on him in a way despite that I know he wasn't meant to be part of Trio of Towns. I have two copies of the game now too and want them to bring it to the Switch and bring Raeger back since other characters have gotten that opportunity to be in new games after appearing once as well.įor Trio of Towns, like I mentioned, the customization was upgraded, and it felt like a lot, so I was impressed, but the lack of swimming bothered me since I liked diving for sea urchins and gems and stuff like that, and the lack of my favourite bachelor actually depressed me too, so when I married Wayne and had my son, it just wasn't the same. But because of that small detail, I was interested, and actually bought Story of Seasons in May of 2015, and I didn't regret it at all. I also liked that I could have twins as well, and that seems rare in these games.
STORY OF SEASONS ROM EUMPARADISE UPGRADE
Yes, I like that they at least added that despite that it wasn't fully animated with the characters doing more in their portraits, way better than a still photo), an awesome mountain town (my friend and I use Oak Tree Town for our roleplays that are based in the SOS location), nice music for different seasons and events, swimming (something Trio of Towns for some reason doesn't have), customization which I can still appreciate despite that Trio of Towns did seem to upgrade that since it has more home and outfit customization, and it's where I discovered who I feel might just be my permanent favourite bachelor of all HM/SOS/RF titles as well. It has a lot of nostalgia I had great memories playing it and spent a lot of time drawing pictures to post with the screenshots before Miiverse shut down so I developed a love for a fan pairing and also came up with an SOS themed story for them due to playing it, it had a feeling I liked with a nice but sad story, beautiful characters both a very great selection of bachelors and bachelorettes and even the townsfolk, a nice realistic or mature themed colour palette for the characters, blinking animation (Lol What. It's kind of hard to choose orders, but the original Story of Seasons 3DS title is my favourite. The first two are the only 3DS games I listed. Story of Seasons (2015), then Trio of Towns and maybe SOS: FOMT.
